No costs for transmission or retrieval of data like with Amazon S3 or (to a much smaller extent) Wasabi, you only pay for the amount of data stored and the count of machines actively being backed up in the last 30 days. Backup copy jobs from your on-prem repositories deliver Veeam files to a data tenant in our network-accessible service provider environment, then additional offline copies are made of those backups which are kept according to data policies of your choice. I'm the lead engineer at a VCSP service provider which offers offline backup to airgapped media as a service. Slightly slow on replying here, but the organization I work for does have one additional alternative to consider which would seem to closely fit your needs.
